Bahrain's property market is on an unmistakable upswing. Through the first eight months of 2026, transaction volumes among freehold areas open to foreign buyers have surged 25 per cent year on year, with total transaction value climbing 29 per cent to reach BHD 784 million, according to the official transaction registry.
For international investors, the momentum is particularly pronounced in the archipelago's most accessible purchase zones. Dilmunia has seen activity accelerate 238 per cent, whilst Diyar Al Muharraq and Durrat Al Bahrain-both long-established destinations for foreign capital-continue to attract sustained buyer interest, with activity up 104 and 48 per cent respectively.
