Which areas of Bahrain are freehold for foreigners?

Nine designated zones: Al Fateh, Amwaj Islands, Diyar Al Muharraq, Sea Front, Durrat Al Bahrain, Seef, Dilmunia, Juffair and Sayh - about 30,500 parcels where buyers of any nationality can own 100% freehold.

The zones span every buyer profile: Seef for premium towers (BD 444/sqm, Bahrain's highest), Juffair for rental yield plays, Amwaj and Dilmunia for island living, Diyar Al Muharraq for the country's biggest new city, and Durrat Al Bahrain for southern resort-style villas.

GCC citizens are not limited to these zones at all - they can buy anywhere in the Kingdom, the same as Bahrainis.
