Can foreigners buy property in Bahrain?

Bahrain Property Law · Ownership
Yes. Freehold ownership in Bahrain's designated zones comes with full inheritance rights - the property passes to your heirs like any other owned asset, and there is no inheritance tax in Bahrain.
This is a real differentiator from markets where foreign 'ownership' is a long lease that complicates succession. Bahrain freehold is genuine title, registered at the SLRB in your name.
Cross-border estates still deserve planning - which law governs your succession depends on your nationality and circumstances - so international owners should take proper advice on wills. The Bahraini end of it, though, is clean: the title is inheritable and untaxed.
